G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè (/ˈg̃ɘgɪ/ /jaˈfëg̃a/ [acquaintance] [food; cuisine]) is a subtropical Town located in the Qíithtathê Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè was founded by Gelë Tresh, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè receives an average of 229 cm/y (90 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 2424 m (7952 ft) above sea level.
Overview
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 10th century, by Gelë Tresh. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Gelë Tresh.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged within a network of spacious cobblestone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè's peasent-grade has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
A look around G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye.
Civic Infrastructure
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
There’s a relatively new religion in G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè which is rapidly gaining power. It might be a sectarian offshoot of a major faith, the unique product of a new prophet, or an outside faith backed by wealthy and powerful foreign supporters. Depending on the demands made on believers, the new faith may be a matter of concern only to the existing clergy, or it might be a major flashpoint for conflict in the community.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.

The Psyche Serpent near G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè are known to be quite timid.
G̈êgî-yafëg̈a Dêtîkè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves ritual combat to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 2 via divine sermons.
Economy
